Many claim that Singapore is a mere tiny red dot on the map. However, that hasn’t stopped the sunny island from hosting world class events.
Singapore has indeed established a name for herself and if we may say, has also put other countries to shame. Singapore has proved its ability to maximize its resources by holding the first inaugural Youth Olympic Games in August this year. As the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) continue to offer a special experience to every single individual that visits Singapore, it is important to hold a wide variety of events and festivals to guarantee a unique experience that each tourist expects
The events and festivals held in Singapore showcases the country’s many different facets that each individual will witness. Some Festivals like the Chinese New Year, Deepavali, Hari Raya and Christmas will be featured in the upcoming blog posts. These festivals all amplify the fact that Singapore is a multi-racial country with 4 different ethnic groups – Chinese, Malay, Indian and Eurasian.

Being a cosmopolitan nation, Singapore is able to attract many visitors from all parts of the world with electrifying events such as the Singtel Formula 1 Night Race, SINGfest, World Gourmet Summit, Chingay Parade, the Great Singapore Sale and the Singapore Music Festival, all of which will also be featured in our blog.
